Born and bred in the Black Country not too far from Walsall and Wolverhampton, I now reside on the sunny south coast of Dorset, namely a seaside town named Swanage. Not that funky at all.
Bringing my passion of soul and funk to the airwaves with my show, aptly named The Funky Soul Excursion with Mr C....
Influenced by the legend Craig Charles but on a smaller budget and slightly less cool.
Mobile DJ over many years until selling up in 2014.
Much prefer the radio presenting which I got into back in 2020, the covid year!
My music collection spans several decades and genres, a lover of funk, wah wah guitars, heavy bass lines, horny brass and of course the Hammond organ.
I aim to play all things funky, soulful, disco, breakbeats and more upto date remixes and re-edits from some of my favourite DJ/producers such as Jayl Funk, Dr Packer, Jet Boot Jack, X-ray Ted, Pete Le Freq to name a few.
A versatile and eclectic mix is guaranteed from the obscure to the classics.
