'House Sessions and more !!'
Thursdays 7.30pm - 9.30pm
I got hooked on music on a caravan holiday in Clacton-On-Sea, Essex as a young boy. I heard Farley Jackmaster Funk "Love Can't Turn Around" on big speakers for the first time and got goose bumps!
I've always had a varied taste in music but in my early days Hip Hop was my first love. Moving into the house/old skool in the late 80's early 90's.
My first taste of 'soul music' was a commercial mix album on vinyl I bought in 1986 which featured artists such as Rah Band, Loose Ends and Wally Badarou and very soon I was exploring the samples used by my love of HipHop and Old Skool records (which nearly always traced back to soul tracks). Tune in with me on Thursday nights from 7.30pm and you'll hear what I mean!
